After discovering yoga serendipitously in 2004, and experiencing the transformation that occurred to me physically, emotionally and spiritually, I knew I was destined to become a yoga teacher when everything was in the correct alignment.
When I found yoga or when it found me, I had been suffering from debilitating panic disorder, anxiety and depression for many years. The practice of yoga provided me with deep inner strength, peace of mind, the ability to control my breath, a steady meditation practice and a strong physical body. Yoga healed me. Yoga gave me purpose. Yoga taught me that my suffering was not in vain. Yoga helped me to carry out my life's passion for helping others. And continues to do so to this very day.
I completed my 200HR Vinyasa YTT in early 2015 with Frog Lotus Yoga (FLY) International in Cahuita, Costa Rica and later that year completed my Advanced 150HR YTT in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
I've dedicated my life to serving others by helping them seek their greatest potential through the practice of yoga, meditation and mindfulness in a loving, judgment free environment accessible to EVERY BODY!
I strive to bring a sense of playfulness, freedom and kindness to my students, and impart some yoga wisdom and philosophy along the way. I guide students in becoming aware (and maintaining awareness) of the connection with their own bodies through breath and movement. I enjoy working with students of all levels.
In September 2018, I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). My intention is to help others feed and nourish their mind, body and soul on and off their plates, as well as on and off their mats.
